Michigan Speech-Language-Hearing Association - Event Information

Event Name:Assessing School-Age Children With Speech-Sound Disorders
Description:This ASHA Replay Webinar 18208 presented by Colleen K. Worthington, M.S., CCC-SLP.  Speech-Language Pathologists often assess school-age children for speech-sound disorders using a single, standardized test. However, this "one-size-fits-all" approach can yield results that do not account for the impact of speech-sound disorders on other aspects of academic performance. This webinar will describe steps to help SLPs develop clear rationales and clinical decision-making strategies to assess speech-sound areas more effectively and facilitate intervention planning.  No Registration fee for Washtenaw County SLPs and other professionals.  Registration for out of county SLPs and other professionals is $10.00. Offered for ASHA 0.2 Professional Development Hours.
