Details
Please join us in our review of updates on the payment systems landscape.  This webinar will demystify APIs, integration, connectivity and open banking. Our experienced experts include Everette Glass, SVP and Immediate Payments Product Advisor, Scott Hogate SVP at Treasury Solutions Group, as well as Wes Blair, SVP and Treasury Management Officer.  This educational session will present batch-based legacy payment platforms versus modern real-time payment platforms.  You will also receive an industry update of the RTP, Zelle, Debit Card platforms and strategic insight into what to consider when determining if these modern platforms are right for your business.

Also included, there will be information on topics such as Application Programming Interface (API) and its significance to Open-Banking and downstream Account Verification Services.  All of these modern platforms continue to evolve as innovative payment systems that are safe, ubiquitous, efficient and broadly accessible.  This educational seminar will finally explore how treasury organizations are grappling with transitioning from a batch world to a real-time world to meet ever-changing customer expectations — while remaining true to business strategies.

Everette Glass joined PNC in July 2019 and has more than 20 years’ experience strategically advising clients about both legacy payment platforms such as wire, ACH and check disbursements and is now solely focused on emerging platforms like RTP, Zelle, APIs and blockchain. He’s determined on helping clients across all industries and markets learn about these expanding platforms and how they can be used to develop a more modern treasury approach.  Everette is the Immediate Payments Product Advisor in PNC’s Treasury Solutions Group and is based in the PNC Charlotte, NC office. Everette is also an ABA Committee board member.

Scott Hogate joined the Treasury Solutions Group in March, 2016 after spending time as a PNC Sales Officer and an independent Treasury & Financial Consultant. Prior to joining PNC, Scott had recently finished a consulting engagement at Universal Services of America (Security). He was hired to identify, analyze and design a traditional treasury function which included bank, account and service justification, the development of a cash forecast as well as process improvements involving the cash conversion cycle.  Previously, Scott was the Assistant Treasurer at 99¢ Only Stores (Retail), Treasurer at DDi Corp (Manufacturing), Consultant at Guthy-Renker (Sales Marketing), Assistant Treasurer at Abbott Medical Optics (Medical Device), formerly Advanced Medical Optics, Treasury Manager at AmerisourceBergen (Distribution), Apria Healthcare (Home Healthcare), and FHP Healthcare (HMO).  Scott graduated from the University of Redlands with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and an undergraduate degree from Chapman University with majors in Finance and Economics. Scott holds Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and Certified Order-to-Cash & Procure-to-Pay Specialist designations. He is based in Orange, CA

Wes Blair serves as Treasury Management Officer on the Corporate West Team and has been with PNC since 2005. In this role, he identifies solutions that improve working capital and payment processing efficiencies for large corporate, middle market, and regional clients and has grown a significant portfolio of strong client relationships. Wes specializes in payment services and has more than 15 years’ experience in treasury and working capital management.
Wes has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in technology management from Pepperdine University. He also holds the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation.
