Details:
Under general direction, manages the Wastewater Treatment Plant Laboratory and Industrial Pretreatment Program; supervises laboratory personnel; establishes and maintains external relations; prepares and maintains laboratory records; performs industrial pretreatment facility and equipment monitoring and inspections; develops policies and procedures; may perform wastewater treatment functions; maintains personal and professional competence and awareness. Supports and participates as a third member of the management team at the WWTP, performing management responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor and/or assistant as assigned.



Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must possess one of the following: Bachelor's Degree in environmental or engineering technology, with course work in chemical, industrial or manufacturing technologies and two (2) years' experience in industrial pollution control, private laboratory practice or a municipal pretreatment
program, or equivalent, including related field supervisory experience OR Class III Wastewater Operator license with at least five (5) years' experience in pretreatment or industrial pollution control or equivalent.



Comments:
Starting Pay: $26.68 per hour; $2,134.40 bi-weekly
