Details:
Work with other members and learn about the nonprofits in our community by serving on a Grant Review Committee. No experience required! Review, score and discuss grant applications and participate in a thorough vetting process that leads to recommending finalists. The process of reviewing grant applications begins with a virtual training session plus 3-4 meetings (Hybrid or Zoom) between February and May as well as site visits. Committee Sign-up is in early January via email link to all members.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of nonprofits desirable, however not required.
Comments:
A great first year experience to understand where Impact100 dollars go in the four-county area. Increases the participant's knowledge about specific nonprofits who apply.
