STAFF ENGINEER/SENIOR ENGINEER/PROJECT MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY

Staff Engineer $60-$80k
Staff engineers provide technical support performing a variety of tasks and services, including:
• Waterline, gravity sewer & pump station design
• Treatment plant improvements
• Construction inspection
• Cost estimates
• GIS mapping & surveying
• Subdivision plan review
• Water and sewer service studies
• Master planning
• Water tower inspections
• Permitting & easement acquisition

Senior Engineer/Project Manager $75-$95k
In addition to the Staff Engineer responsibilities our senior engineers and managers are key team members that oversee and
implement critical projects for the department. They manage and implement large construction projects, and coordinate with local
and state regulatory agencies, oversee the adoption of new technology and software, and lead project teams as well as a variety
of other tasks.


Qualifications:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Entry level staff engineer position requires a bachelor’s degree in civil, chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering. Experience and knowledge of AutoCad and ESRI ArcMap software is desired. Candidates that have passed their Fundamentals of Engineering exam are preferred.

Senior engineer & project manager candidates shall have an active professional engineering license. Candidates with a master’s degree in engineering or business administration are preferred.
