SGM is seeking survey professionals of all levels to join our Survey Team in Glenwood Springs, Meeker, Durango, and/or Gunnison, Colorado office. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to live, work and play in Western Colorado.

Qualifications:
ENTRY LEVEL POSITIONS:
Valid Driver's License w/ ability to pass Motor Vehicle Record check
Physically capable of performing typical land surveying tasks including the ability to carry 50+ lbs. of survey gear through mountainous terrain
Ability to work independently or as part of a crew
Motivated problem solver
Proven ability to work as part of a team to successfully deliver projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; good communication skills
Ability to work long hours when needed with occasional out of town travel
Working knowledge of Microsoft

EXPERIENCED POSITIONS:
Strong communication skills with clients and internal staff members
Ability to lead field surveyors and drafters
Advanced understanding of coordinate systems and vertical datums
Advanced knowledge of CAD Software
Advanced ability to research property boundaries, easements, and other documents of record
Ability to work independently or as part of a crew
Motivated problem solver

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Colorado PLS
AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
GIS experience
Trimble software and hardware experience
Diverse surveying experience with including boundary retracement, construction staking, topographic mapping, and legal description preparation
