Analysis Raises Red Flags About Recent MCCA Rate Increase
The Coalition Protecting Auto No-Fault (CPAN) released today the results of a recent analysis of the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association’s financial statements. CPAN’s analysis finds no basis behind the MCCA’s recent $30 rate increase, or the insurance industry’s claims that changes to Michigan’s no-fault insurance system are needed to control costs or protect the solvency of the MCCA.
