Analysis Raises Red Flags About Recent MCCA Rate Increase
The Coalition Protecting Auto No-Fault (CPAN) released today the results of a recent analysis of the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Associationís financial statements. CPANís analysis finds no basis behind the MCCAís recent $30 rate increase, or the insurance industryís claims that changes to Michiganís no-fault insurance system are needed to control costs or protect the solvency of the MCCA.
