The Recorder Rules on this YouTube Channel
Over the last couple of years, the British Columbia Recorder Society's techie Andrea MacDonald has been working on a special resource for all recorder players. As you may have noticed, googling the word “recorder” is somewhat problematic, not to mention frustrating. It can be difficult to discover new soloists, ensembles, and educational information.

To that end, Andrea and BCRS have created a YouTube channel with resources on a number of topics such as:

- Full concerts by soloists and ensembles
- Full (and legal) recorder albums
- Historical dance examples from the baroque, renaissance, and medieval periods
- Performance practice topics like period-appropriate ornamentation
- Educational videos on topics like playing by ear
- Videos for children learning recorder

These videos have been sorted into topic-specific playlists to make it easy to find the content you are looking for.

Here is a link to the Playlists: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcTGT1ayUT_1tsGEx14UoHQ/playlists

The BCRS YouTube also has links to 42 channels by and for recorder players, including the ARS YouTube channel. You can see these linked channels here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcTGT1ayUT_1tsGEx14UoHQ/channels?view=49&shelf_id=1

This resource is for ALL recorder players, no matter where they are. BCRS updates the channel regularly and happily accepts suggested videos and channels.
