Peter Ballinger to receive ARS Presidential Special Honor Award

The ARS Board voted on the award at the Spring meeting in April. It will be presented to Peter at the Recorder Relay Concert on June 15, 2024 at the Berkeley Early Music Festival and Exhibition (BFX). 

For 34 years, PRB Productions was run by husband-and-wife team Peter Ballinger and Leslie Gold, issuing finely edited and beautifully printed editions of music for the recorder, viol, and assorted other instruments from their home in Albany, California. One of the early music world's most beloved resources, PRB Productions closed its doors June 30, 2023.
