CPAN Statement on Mar. 21 House Insurance Committee Hearing
Insurance Commissioner Kevin Clinton testified in front of the House Insurance Committee today that all information CPAN is requesting is available to the public online. In response to this testimony, CPAN President John Cornack issued the following statement:

“If the MCCA is truly transparent and the information that CPAN is seeking was actually available to the public then why would the MCCA continue to fight our lawsuit? It doesn’t make sense. What are they trying to hide?” said Cornack.

This affidavit from CPAN consultant and former Missouri Insurance Commissioner Jay Angoff was filed in the Ingham County Circuit Court and lists specific information the public needs – such as actuarial assumptions and models –  to understand whether the MCCA’s projections are reasonable.
