"CPAN members have argued for years that addressing fraud should be made a priority to help reduce costs for consumers.
"However, policymakers should also be aware that fraud goes both ways. Filing false claims or submitting fake proof of auto insurance is just as fraudulent as insurance companies that deny legitimate claims for seriously injured people."
