Golf Outing Raises $40,000 for WVU Children's Hospital
On Thursday, June 12 the Michael Late Benedum Chapter of AAPL held its’ 6th Annual Spring Charity Golf Event at Oglebay Resort benefiting WVU Children’s Hospital. 228 golfers traveled from all over the A-Basin; some even made the trip from as far away as Texas, to show their support of the event at Oglebay Resort’s Palmer and Jones courses in Wheeling, WV. Thanks to the support of the golfers, sponsors and members who donated their day rate through the Top Notch Land Services Challenge, the MLBC was proud to present the WVU Children's Hospital with a $40,000 check. Since the inception of the annual golf outing the MLBC has been able to raise over $120,000 for the Children's hospital.
