The MLBC recently sent relief effort supplies to Texas and our members are encouraged to get involved by making a donation. A 26' truck left WV on Sunday night and supplies were delivered on Tuesday to shelters in El Campo and Wharton, Texas.
Initially, the MLBC provided $2,500 which was used to purchase relief and recovery supplies. Trash cans, trash bags, industrial fans, gloves, rags, bug spray and extension cords are a few of the items purchased with this donation. The MLBC plans to match its membership donations up to $10,000 in order to support additional relief and recovery efforts.
