Given my experience as a manager of volunteers for 26 years, I strongly encourage you to consider pursuing the Certified in Volunteer Administration (CVA) credential. Applying to be considered to take the exam, studying the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration (CCVA) manual for the exam, passing the test, and receiving the CVA credential enhanced my career and my relationship with volunteers. I believe that holding our work to a professional standard helps raise all of us up.
 
Because NAVPLG and CCVA are partners in promoting the profession of volunteer administration and enhancing professionals in the field of volunteer engagement, NAVPLG members receive a discount on the fee for CVA certification. The discount rate shall be $315 USD.
