Welcome to the Eta Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Kappa Delta
Sigma Kappa Delta, Eta Epsilon Chapter, is an English honor society located at Jefferson State Community College in Alabama. The purpose of this organization is to reward and encourage outstanding student achievement in English language and literature. SKD provides opportunities for advancing the study of language and literature, developing writing skills, meeting scholars and writers, attending conferences, submitting work for publication, and winning scholarships and awards.What We Do
This club provides opportunities to interact with others interested in literature and to participate in on-campus activities. These activities include monthly or bi-monthly literary readings, coffee shop readings and any other fun and interesting events proposed by club members.Click here to see our in-depth website!
National Affiliation
We are also associated with Sigma Kappa Delta, the national English honors society for two-year colleges. This honors society allows students to present at conferences, publish critical and creative writing, and win scholarship and award money.
