Ventura College Eta Zeta Chapter
Welcome to the Eta Zeta Chapter of Sigma Kappa Delta
Sigma Kappa Delta, Eta Zeta Chapter, is an English honor society located at Ventura College. The society is specifically designed for two-year community colleges, and we are not just for English majors. We welcome anyone who is interested in reading, ideas, and good discussion. Membership requirements include completion of at least 12 semester hours college credit, three semester hours of college English, and an overall 3.0 GPA.
What We Do
This club provides opportunities to interact with others interested in literature and to participate in on-campus activities. Additionally, we
- Recognize and reward outstanding achievement in English language and literature.
- Provide cultural stimulation and promote interest in English on two-year college campuses and in the communities they serve.
- Foster English in all its aspects, including creative and critical writing.
- Promote good professional interaction among members.
- Exhibit high standards of academic achievement.
