HR & Policy Committee
Involvement:
Description:
The HR & Policy Committee builds and expands AL!VE’s capacity to engage members in meaningful volunteer roles that advance the profession. We update our policies and procedures, oversee volunteer onboarding and recognition programs and strengthen our internal volunteer management protocols. The committee provides oversight of policies, procedures and practices related to AL!VE paid and unpaid staff and any collaboration/partnership agreements. AL!VE committees work towards the organizational strategic goals, and for the benefit of our members. While serving on a committee, your focus will include advancing AL!VE's mission and goals and helping to increase number of committee members. Actively participate in committee meetings and take ownership of action steps identified during meetings. Complete any meeting pre-work as applicable. Identifies and collaborates or leads completion of a project. If collaborating on a project, makes reasonable effort to attend all meetings about the project, or complete individual work in a timely manner.
