This webinar will provide veterinarians and public health professionals knowledge of the human and canine health impacts of Rocky Mountain spotted fever (RMSF). It will provide a discussion of the ecology, epidemiology, and clinical relevance of RMSF. The presenter will discusses current prevention methods using a One Health approach and the challenges to control and prevention. Finally, attendees will be made aware of vaccine development and recent survey findings which highlight veterinarians’ interest in vaccine development and experience with RMSF.\n\nThis webinar has been granted up to one hour of CE credit by RACE.
