Andrew L. Barry, P.E., has worked for the Omaha District USACE for 22 years and has been the Chief of the NWD-POD Dam Safety Production Center for the past two years. After graduating with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska in 2004, he has spent his entire career supporting the Dam and Levee Safety Programs for Omaha District including design; flood fighting and surveillance; risk assessments and studies; and operation and maintenance of dam and levee projects with a specialty in geotechnical engineering. Previously held positions within Omaha District include Omaha District Levee Safety Program Manager as well as Senior Geotechnical Engineer and Dam Safety Section Chief within the NWD-POD Dam Safety Production Center.
