Join this fun and easy conversation with self-advocates in the developmental, physical, and mental health communities as we look at the positive and negative of how people with a diagnosis are represented in television, film, theater, and other media. We will hear from three individuals with lived experience, who will share their thoughts about what works and what doesn’t work, keeping in mind that the goal is always to increase understanding and reduce stereotypes and stigma.
