Event Description
One of the hallmarks of the Older Americans Act (OAA) is its flexibility and the ability for the aging services network to tailor programs to their community needs. Entities are able to operate flexibly but must still meet key requirements when using OAA grant funding, including meeting all applicable federal laws, regulations, and other relevant guidance for federal grants. The OAA final rule updated language to align with the current statute to meet the needs of today’s older adults, as well as promote appropriate stewardship of OAA resources. This webinar will provide training to relevant staff on key fiscal requirements of the rule and serve as a training tool for new staff. State and area agency fiscal staff are especially encouraged to attend.
The webinar will be recorded. ASL and CART will be provided. If you need other accommodations to participate, please contact marcia.gordon@acl.hhs.gov. More information can be found on ACL.gov/OAArule.
