Election season is fully underway in the nation’s capital. For BOMA Advocacy, this provides opportunities to highlight our issues with elected officials and make the case for commercial real estate. To make our voice heard with the greatest impact, BOMA International has designated June 25 as “BOMA National Advocacy Day.”

Election season is fully underway in the nation’s capital. For BOMA Advocacy, this provides opportunities to highlight our issues with elected officials and make the case for commercial real estate. To make our voice heard with the greatest impact, BOMA International has designated June 25 as “BOMA National Advocacy Day.”
We know that it is not always easy to reach out to your elected officials, so we have made some key investments in advocacy communication to help members reach out from anywhere. On June 25, we are asking everyone to visit our new legislative action center and enter your zip code, and from there you can automatically send letters to your federal, state, city and county officials on a set of our issues.
Over the next couple of months the Advocacy team will provide more information on how to participate in the program and help meet our goal to send thousands of messages on the same day from BOMA members all across the country. I encourage you to visit the new action center now, which has updated fact sheets on several issues and provides the ability to donate directly to BOMA International’s Political Action Committee.
