The Robert Ruff Sr. Memorial Golf Tournament on June 10. This year Jeff Scott and Mariners Landing will be our hosts.  This is a very important event for the VTA and money raised goes towards scholarships for children of VTA members, turfgrass students and our staff members.  Please be getting your teams together. 
 
Deadline for teams to register is June 7th!

The Course


The 18-hole Trent Jones Sr. golf course was recently updated with new irrigation systems and new pavement on many of the golf cart paths. Mariners Landing Country Club golf course is a prestigious layout that sits on the edge of Smith Mountain Lake Virginia, with one of the best layouts in the Roanoke / Lynchburg area.

The golf course is a 18-hole championship golf course with an original design by the late Robert Trent Jones Sr. Our facility offers a clubhouse with a grill open to the public and a lounge area for members and their guests. Our golf practice facility offers driving range and putting green with a chipping area.
