We are excited to kick off our new season by welcoming back Parish House Baroque. Their creative program recalls how famous English painter Thomas Gainsborough had a passion for music, and many significant composers sat for portraits by him. Ignatius Sancho, Carl Friedrich Abel, Felice de Giardini, Rudolf Straube, Johann Christian Fischer, and J.C. Bach all were subjects for Gainsborough and left behind not only their portraits but also a treasure trove of musical delights. Come hear their music performed live, on period instruments, or join us for live streaming. Either way, you will treat yourself to a wonderfully unique program.
PERFORMERS
Elisa Wicks, baroque violin
