This two day workshop is intended for new operators of small water systems and will discuss all components of a small water system from source to storage to distribution. The class includes a table top small water system, and other equipment to aid in the understanding of system components and how they work.
The class starts with general overviews of drinking water systems, basic hydraulics and drinking water's impact on public health. These overviews are intended to provide basis on which to build the understanding of not only the components of a water system, but how they work together to provide a safe and reliable water supply to those who depend on it.
