Dr. Neil Vezeau will present "Global Progress on Antimicrobial Resistance from a One Health Perspective". This presentation will focus on worldwide trends in antimicrobial use and resistance in humans, animals, and plants, especially with reference to differences between high and low-resource settings. There will be a review of recent efforts to correlate usage and resistance between humans and livestock at international and global levels. The presentation will conclude with discussion of national and intergovernmental efforts to detect resistance and increase the judiciousness of use.
This webinar has received approval for up to one hour of continuing education credit by RACE and the State of New York. Participants must attend at least 50 minutes of the webinar to receive a one hour CE certificate.
