Please join us as we honor our longtime friend, Bert Walton. The TTA and golf course Superintendent Mark Branson will host the 8th Annual Bert Walton Memorial Golf Tournament atHeron Ridge Golf Club on Wednesday, November 6th. Please help us as we remember and honor our longtime friend, Ber Walton as we raise money for the Hampton Roads Agricultural Research and Extension Center. The mission of the Hampton Roads AREC is to provide leadership in production and health of specialty crops, water management, and environmental sustainability through nationally recognized research and extension programs. The funds raised will benefit Golf Course Superintendents, as we appreciate the research, support, and collaboration from Virginia Tech. We hope to continue to build on our relationship and to benefit from one another. Dr. Derr and Adam Nichols are always looking for suggestions on future research projects from fellow Superintendents that would benefit the golf community. This is always a fun event with great camaraderie, so don’t miss out!
