This unique hands-on experience will allow farriers to work in teams of a maximum of 8 farriers to view horses at a walk and jog, and review radiographs and further analysis of the needs of the horse.     Following the analysis the farrier team will work with a veterinarian to develop a shoeing prescription for the horse.  The team will then shoe the horse (all four feet).  Afterwards the team will present its evaluation to the entire group with a full conclusion of the steps taken for this horse.  Presentations will include videos PowerPoint documentations. We are planning for a minimum of 6 horses.   Farriers are encouraged to register themselves, teams of two (which will be combined with other teams of two), or a full team of 8 farriers.  Each team will have a moderator to work with the team and a videographer to document all steps taken in the shoeing of each horse.  The videographer will work with the team to provide a complete documentation of the steps taken for each horse.  After the day, each presentation will be posted on the Hoofcare Essentials website (www.HoofcareEssentials.com) for teams and other to review.
