We're thrilled to invite you to a presentation and tour of Downtown Denver's 16th Street Mall Reconstruction Project. This ambitious project aims to breathe new life into the Mall, revitalizing it from Market Street to Broadway, with construction that began in spring 2022. The city's primary goal is to enhance safety and mobility, address deteriorating infrastructure, and create more opportunities for everyone who lives, works, and visits the Mile High City to enjoy this iconic space for years.

Key Highlights:

• Enhanced Safety and Mobility: Improvements will focus on creating a safer, more accessible environment for pedestrians, cyclists, and transit users.
• Infrastructure Upgrades: Replacing worn-out infrastructure to ensure long-term sustainability and resilience.
• Community Enjoyment: Expanding public spaces and features that enhance the overall visitor experience.

Presentation and Tour Details:

The event will be hosted by project team members from the DOTI Special Projects Office, PCL Construction, AtkinsRéalis, and Martin/Martin. This comprehensive presentation will cover key aspects of the project, including:

• Drainage Solutions: Ensuring efficient and effective water management.
• Tree Planting and Preservation: Enhancing the urban canopy and preserving the Mall's natural beauty.
• Paver Installation: Upgrading sidewalk materials for durability and aesthetics.
• Design-Build Delivery Method: Streamlining the construction process for timely and cost-effective completion.
