The Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP) presents this webinar on the key findings and recommendations from the Center's latest report, Chronic Wasting Disease Spillover Preparedness and Response: Charting an Uncertain Future. This webinar will include presentations from the subject matter experts who led multidisciplinary working group discussions that formed the basis for the report. Presentations will span five topic areas: human medicine and public health, cervid and production animal health, prion biology and disease diagnostics, carcass and contaminated item disposal and the environment, and wildlife health and management. CIDRAP Director Dr. Michael Osterholm will moderate the discussion and a Q&A session.
