Event Description
Gulf South VECTOR, Anastasia Mosquito Control District of St. Johns County, and the City of New Orleans Mosquito, Termite and Rodent Control Board are hosting an in-person veterinary training in St. Augustine, FL, on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 9 AM-1:30 PM EDT. There will be a virtual option available from 9 AM-12 PM EDT.
The program, Vector Management and Disease Risks for Veterinarians, will cover the topics, "Emergency Preparedness for Veterinary Staff," "Vector Biology and Disease Risk," and "Vector Control of Veterinary Facilities." An ectoparasite lab will be available for in-person attendees. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
