Event Description
Make plans now to attend the 2026 ARCI Annual Meeting and Equine Welfare and Racing, Wagering and Sport Integrity Conference and Training.

This year's conference will feature two "tracks".   One for horse racing regulators and a second for regulatory personnel responsible for sports betting and other forms of gambling regulation.    ARCI member agencies with responsibilities beyond horse racing regulation are encourgaed to register non-racing regulatory personnel to participate in and monitor the parellel non-racing track.

The regulation of racing and other forms of legal gambling continues to evolve and important and attendees will be briefing on important developments and trends as well as issues and potential tools to maximize the efficiency of their regulatory functions.

Broad issues such as responsible gambling, cyber security, use of artificial intelligence, and challenges to consumer confidence will be explored.

If you have not yet made your hotel reservation, the deadline has passed for the discounted room rates.   There are still rooms available in the JW Marriott or the adjacent Fairfield Inn.    Please call the hotel directly to make a reservation and BE SURE TO TELL THEM YOU ARE WITH THE ARCI room block.  The number for the JW Marriott is 317-860-5800 and the room rate is $278/night.    The number for the Fairfield Inn is 317-636-7678 and there are some rooms left at the "government rate" of $133, otherwise its about $194/night.

Attendees are encourged to arrive on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.   Conference sessions will begin early Wednesday morning.   Depending on interest, an informal networking social event may be coordinated for Tuesday evening.
