Event Description

We are hosting Paige Poss, equine anatomy expert. She will start the morning off with a presentation including some of her incredible imaging from her past projects. We will talk about functional anatomy and physiology. She will also touch on common hoof distortions. We will be dissecting a total of three hoof capsules (and we have extra if time allows). A couple of the dissections will include interesting pathologies such as a keratoma removal, and Impar ligament injury, and DSLD. We will also have “normal” hoof capsule to compare. Clinic hours are 9-5pm. Lunch is provided.
