Joe Comeau - CIPP/US, CISSP, Global Privacy and Cyber Risk Consultant, Lockton Companies
For nearly 25 years, Joe has progressed through the ranks of Information Security for companies both large and small, public and private. As technology continues to change, Joe's passion for knowledge and relationship building is unwavering. He takes pride in his ability to communicate on multiple levels, whether deeply technical or executive business discussions. With experience in incident response, cyber claims adjusting, and cyber insurance, his move to Lockton Companies was a perfect match. As a Global Privacy and Cyber Risk Consultant with Lockton Companies, Joe guides clients through the cyber security journey. Joe currently holds multiple credentials, such as CISSP and CIPP/US, and has also earned a Master's degree in Business Administration and even has an Insurance Producer’s license.
Brian King is a Partner in AHT’s Property and Casualty department. His focus and clientele are in both domestic and international ag/food processing, manufacturing, financial institutions, technology/life sciences and educational institutions.
Brian takes a hands-on approach to ensure that his clients’ programs match their corporate risk management strategy, even so much as developing unique due diligence tools for his clients use. In addition to his other strategic services, Brian has directly handled the successful resolution of property claims valued in the tens of millions of dollars.
Brian joined AHT in 2014 with five years of experience across all aspects of the insurance industry, including retail, underwriting and wholesale insurance brokerage capacities at multi-national corporations. With his unique background, Brian leads the Pacific Northwest’s commercial Ag (non Equine) group, as well as AHT’s West coast Education practice group.
Fidan Karimli is a Cyber Services Manager at Beazley, and a cyber and privacy attorney, admitted to practice law in the State of California and the State of New York. Prior to joining Beazley, she was a Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Attorney at Mullen Coughlin LLC.
Fidan has extensive experience in complex cybercrime and white-collar investigations, including identity theft, bust-out merchant fraud, bribery, child exploitation. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Fidan worked for the City of New York in different capacities. She was a Cybercrime Investigative Analyst at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, assisting in sensitive and long-term investigations into cybercrime and identity theft. She collected intelligence on cybercriminals, analyzed hard drives and routinely testified in grand jury hearings, and attended proffer sessions. As a Confidential Investigator at the New York City Department of Investigation, Fidan investigated allegations into corruption and fraud by the City agencies and its employees, regularly conducting field interviews, surveillance, and undercover operations.
Fidan holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, and a Master's degree in Cybersecurity Risk and Strategy from New York University School of Law and Tandon School of Engineering. She also holds various certifications in forensic analysis from Cellebrite and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C). Additionally, Fidan is fluent in multiple languages, including Russian, Turkish, Azerbaijani, and has conversational Bulgarian and Spanish.
