Sorting DNA Segments: An Introduction
We’ll take a look at the process of sorting DNA segments into Triangulation Groups (TGs). Once sorted we’ll examine the different TGs in light of our genealogical knowledge to see what conclusions we can draw about the sorted segments.
A handout is available with an example of sorting and the resulting conclusions. Two segment lists are included for you to practice sorting if you so desire. Please email dna@nyrgs.org by May 8 if you need the handout emailed to you.
This will be a Zoom presentation and the link will be in the member’s section of the website. Non-members or RGS are welcome, please email dna@nyrgs.org by May 8 if you would like to have the Zoom link emailed to you.
