Event Description
Hi Everyone,
We will have our next society meeting on Tuesday, August 18 at Diamond Grill in downtown Alexandria. We are excited to have Glaukos sponsoring the meeting who will be presenting on their new Epi On Crosslinking called Epioxa. Dr. Charlie Thompson of Eye Clinic of Lake Charles will be our presenter and we definitely don't want you to miss out! 1h or non TPA CE may be earned by attendance. Cocktails will start at 6:00 with the presentation starting at 6:30.
Also, if you haven't yet gotten a check to me for Rep Gabe Firment (who is running for US Congress) please do so asap so the OAL can include you in a letter of support for him. As a last resort, you may bring the check to me at the meeting, but I need to know ahead of time. It is customary, for these US races, for professionals to donate a minimum of $250 on a personal check. Rep Firment is going to be at the meeting to speak briefly and the OAL will present him with the donations at that time, I hope to count on your support!
