Hello Everyone,
I hope you all have had a great summer. We will be having our next society meeting later this month on Thursday, August 27th, at 2Johns. We will get started at 6:00 with a brief presentation from two different companies. Patrick Jewell of LKC Technologies will kick things of and tell us about RETeval, a handheld ERG device. Patrick will be informing us on how this instrument can be best applied in the primary eye care setting, along with the economics/reimbursement side of the device. He will be followed by a representative from MacuHealth. No CE Credit will be available from this meeting format.
Our agenda will include SB 404, which is now Act 384. Please bring any questions or thoughts you have on the new law. We will also be discussing what seems to be a statewide (and national) problem with coding and reimbursements by Centene Vision (Envolve).
