Lane Community College seeks a financial aid systems analyst to join our dynamic and diverse team of financial aid professionals This position will focus on batch processing, record load, packaging, return to title IV, and dual credit processing. Lane Community College annually processes $25m in financial aid for about 5,000 financial aid students. Qualifications:
Basic operating knowledge of Title IV regulations related to verification.
Basic operating knowledge of Title IV regulations related to packaging and packaging philosophies
Basic operating knowledge of Title IV regulations related to cash management and resolution
Understanding how to build a population selection and database architecture
Trouble shooting database errors
Time management and a consistent record of reliable attendance
Ability to manage MANY competing priorities
Integrative understanding of how systems are connected to databases
Ability to identify opportunities for systems improvements
Understanding of federal processing sites like COD, NSLDS, and CPS
Provide support to employees working to meet accreditation standards through evaluation and assessment of student outcomes.
