We are currently seeking skilled and team-oriented applicants for the following position: Director - Financial Aid & Scholarship
The Director of Financial Aid and Scholarship is responsible for administering all aspects of a comprehensive financial aid program, including planning, development, promotion, organization, coordination, supervision, quality services, fiscal accountability and program integrity of Eastern's federal, state and institutional financial aid and scholarship programs. The Director provides representation and leadership for the University in all matters related to student aid program management. The Director is also responsible for the personnel, budgetary and operational activities of the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of progressively-responsible financial aid work experience with at least 3 years of staff supervision
- In-depth familiarity with electronic financial aid systems
- Proven managerial skills for handling and directing multiple and complex assignments
- Evidence of commitment to diversity and serving the needs of a diverse population
- Candidate must demonstrate interest, ability and/or experience promoting cultural competency, universal accessibility and/or diversity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Experience as a Director of Financial Aid
- Experience in a public four-year higher education setting
- In-depth familiarity with the Ellucian Banner software
- Good analytical skills, including proficiency with Excel and Tableau

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
