The Program on Climate and Health in the Boston University School of Public Health is seeking to recruit a Post-Doctoral Research Associate or staff Research Scientist to join a growing and dynamic team focused on studying the health impacts of continued climate change. In this position you will lead and conduct sophisticated data analyses of very large healthcare claims datasets, author or co-author manuscripts, expand your skills in the design and conduct of epidemiologic analyses, and gain training in methods for analysis of "big data." You will also have opportunities to mentor graduate students and research assistants and contribute to the development of our group’s research agenda.

The ideal candidate will have expertise and training in data sciences, statistics, biostatistics, and/or epidemiology and demonstrated advanced experience programming in R. Additional proficiency in SAS and/or SQL is desired, but not required. The incumbent will be appointed within the Department of Environmental Health and be a member of the growing Program in Climate and Health at Boston University School of Public Health.
