The Department of Environmental Health Sciences is seeking candidates for Dr. Norman Kleiman’s Lab to perform duties for two funded NIH studies examining serological features and hallmarks of COVID-19 infection, severity of symptoms and potential diagnostic confounders as well as NIH study to establish biodosimetric signatures of environmental hazards with a particular focus on either accidental or intentional ionizing radiation exposure. The candidate will identify, recruit, secure informed consent and administer subject questionnaires from human subjects. Maintain records and data according to the needs of each sponsor. Obtain specimens from human subject from blood draws and other specimen retrieval (e.g. saliva, urine). Process samples from, store and ship to our collaborators on a periodic basis. As needed, assist with animal experiments related to the above. Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.
