The Program for Global Public Health and the Common Good at Boston College invites doctoral level epidemiologists and persons with equivalent qualifications to apply for the position of Assistant Professor of the Practice in Epidemiology. This is a full-time, full-benefits, non-tenure track position, with an initial three-year contract and the possibility of regular renewal and future promotion.

Qualifications:
Applicants should have a proven record or, in the case of new graduates, a strong commitment of excellence in teaching, a demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse population of students, staff, and faculty, and a commitment to foster openness and inclusivity in the public health community.

We especially encourage applicants from underrepresented groups.

Specific requirements are these:
• Doctoral degree (MD, PhD, DrPH or equivalent) in epidemiology, biostatistics or a related public health field.
• Commitment to teaching excellence.
• Native English speaker or level 5 proficiency in written and spoken English (on the Interagency Language Roundtable scale).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment.
• Ability to attract, work with, teach, mentor, and advise diverse students.
