The Manager of Program Specialists has a key leadership role within Adult Services, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Program Specialists and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centered services. This position collaborates closely with Adult Services Managers, Directors, Coordinators, and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to maintain accurate records, meaningful data, and effective service delivery. The Manager of Program Specialists will lead by example, demonstrating positive leadership through situational training, mentorship, and ongoing support for staff. This role promotes a culture of empowerment, choice, rights, and safety for individuals with disabilities.
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a master’s degree with at least one year of related experience; or a bachelor’s degree with two years of experience; or an associate’s degree with three years of experience; or a minimum of 60 college credits with four years of experience. Applicants must be eligible to work in accordance with the Medicaid Integrity Provisions and able to obtain required clearances, including Pennsylvania Criminal History, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History, and FBI background checks in compliance with Act 31. Strong time management and organizational skills are essential. A valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, an insurable driving record, and reliable transportation are also required.
