Greetings IWWSG Members & Friends and Happy Anniversary!!
So, any idea of my topic for this month’s IWWSG Newsletter?? You are correct – MEMBERSHIP!! Your Steering Committee not only fully realizes the challenges that IWWSG faces in once again bringing professionals together as it transitions into the post-pandemic “new normal”, but also that our membership is the lifeblood of IWWSG. Memberships help to ensure the longevity of IWWSG, which is celebrating it 75th Anniversary this season!! As a not-for-profit organization, the IWWSG relies on membership dues from both companies and individuals to fulfill its mission: To provide an educational forum for current environmental issues and to create and sustain professional networking opportunities for all of its members. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the environment, and of particular interest to those in industry, manufacturing, research, education, business, consulting, government, and the law, with a focus on the Chicagoland area.
For our current Members, we hope you have been enjoying your membership by taking advantage of all the information, networking opportunities, and discounts that are available. Your current membership expired at the end of May, renewal invoices will be issued by September 1, 2022.
For current Non-Members, especially Industrial/manufacturing companies, we hope you will seriously consider joining/rejoining IWWSG at this time to gain new knowledge, expand your network, and give back to the water/environmental field. If you are new to the organization and would like to join simply go to https://www.iwwsg.org/membership.php and follow the instructions.
And remember, we are ALWAYS thrilled to welcome new Members!!

Northern Plant Services, Ltd. was established in 1999 in Portage, Indiana to service the transportation, steel, refining, power, chemical, and auto industries. Our core services are industrial cleaning and environmental field services; but as we grew, so did our services. Our Environmental Field Services Division provides stormwater inspection programs (SWPPP), spill prevention inspection programs (SPCC), Tier II chemical inventory services and wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) operations/management. Our Industrial Cleaning Services include vacuum truck services, waste removal, tank cleaning, water blasting, dust control, cooling tower cleaning, resin tank cleaning, and high-volume water pumping. NPS also specializes in chemical cleaning, and industrial dry ice blasting.
