The City of South Padre Island is accepting applications this week for qualified volunteers to serve for the following City boards and committees:

Board of Adjustments & Appeals
Board of Ethics (Cannot serve on any other board or committee)
Convention & Visitors Advisory Board (Must be in the Entertainment, Hotel/Condo, Technical Industries)
Development Standards Review Task Force
Economic Development Corporation
Parks & Keeps SPI Beautiful Committee
Planning & Zoning Committee
Shoreline Task Force
Special Events Committee (Must be in the tourism, hospitality, and events industry)

If interested, fill out and submit your application via email, fax, or in person to City Secretary, Angelique Soto at City Hall (4601 Padre Blvd.)

Last day to submit an application is Tuesday December 6 by 5 p.m.
