The restaurant previously known as Cap' n' Roy's, has transferred ownership to sisters Bri Scanlan and Jenna Ghilain to open a restaurant together. Born and raised on the island, the sisters stayed acquainted with island dining after working at several island restaurants, including their parent's past business Amberjacks, where The Greens now sits.
Before their business, Scanlan ran a meal prep company, and Ghilain worked as a sales representative. Now, the sisters are excited and ready to open towards the end of January. They plan to present an entirely different menu and vibe and put their dreams to work. "Our dynamic is good. We have worked together quite a bit, and we always knew there was potential to take over the building. It's something we've talked about for several years," said Ghilain. |
