Treasurer's report:
Beginning balance November 2022 $9541.95, Income $70.00, Expenses $514.91, closing $9097.04
December Beginning balance $9097.04, Income & *transfers $736.98, Expenses $2143.46, final balance $6690.52
*transferred remaining funds from DFCU into Public Services C.U.
Please let Joe know if you ever need to look at financials, and he will be happy to share.
Joe discussed the discrepancies in our billing on the new website - he is researching how to improve it. We are also paying way too much in credit card processing, so he is researching other services that better serve our needs.

We welcomed 2 new businesses:

Website: When searching for members, if the member has added more information, such as sales, promotions, more information, etc, the name will be in BLUE which opens a hyperlink to all information posted there.
Old Business:
We participated in the Santaland Parade. D&D Transportation supplied their new vehicle we could ride in. We decorated the vehicle in Shop Small Merch. The ladies from the Garden City Thrift Store came along for the ride while Jackie (Bizzbee), Elaine, Sharon & Scott walked the parade route.
We also had our Holiday Mixer at Sports Venue. We want to thank Laurie and her staff for hosting the event. We had prizes, food, etc. All leftover food was donated to the Fire Department.
The 2023 Budget will be announced at February’s meeting
Mike Walker - Committee Coordinators
We are looking for volunteer coordinators that could help us with our events, meet and greet new members, attend grand openings, etc. Someone to help with sponsorships, someone to help with membership drives, create promotions. Someone who might want to take over Facebook postings. Anyone interested in being a committee chair, please contact one of our board members.
Letters to all members: Mike is sending snail mail letters to all our current members to ensure all information we have on our website is current and correct. Also to encourage members to log into their own listings and update them.
Music in the Park will again be the 3rd Thursday of the month for June-August

We will also have a revamped Shop & Play again, and food trucks. More information to come as bands are secured and vendors have been booked.
Joe Bartley - Valentine’s promotion. We have a contest / giveaway for 1 winner of a wagon full of GCBA members merchandise and gifts. Take a selfie with your “valentine” (spouse, friend, child, grandchild, pet,etc) and post it on the GCBA page for an entry to win. Lots of prizes already donated.

Adele provided balloon vases that she sells - the vase can be filled with candy or whatever you desire. Many different varieties and occasions
Cheryl from Fudgy Grandma’s Coffee has purchased a small trailer for her business that they are in the process of fixing up and painting. The can bring the trailer to different events and sell coffee & hot chocolate.
