Letters were sent snail mail to all members to ensure we have complete and accurate information on our website. Also to remind everyone to join our members only page.
Looking to have our membership tab in the website changed to something like “our businesses” or something similar
When you log into your account, there is a profile spot where you can add specials or announcements at any time - no restrictions. Once you’ve filled in the profile the information, your listing will be highlighted in blue and a hyperlink will take you to the profile section

Rebrand shop/play - the concept was to have vendors and non profits bring carnival games to raise funds. The games didn’t go over well. New name is Bizzbee Vendor Show. We will have tables available for our members to sell or promote their businesses, as well as free space for local non-profit community organizations.
Food trucks & vendor space will open at 4:00, music starts at 6:30
No charge for table space for GCBA members and local GC Non-profit organizations
Non members - can pay $35.00 to become a member or pay $?? For their space
Sponsors of MITP will have their choice of vendor space if they choose to attend.
Next meeting will be an evening meeting, March 8, Wednesday at 5:30 - very short meeting at 6:00 followed by networking. We will have snacks and beverages. Meeting will be here at the Farmhouse 6221 Merriman.
Membership dues:
We would like some input about our annual dues. If we choose to raise dues, we would like to get feedback on how much would be acceptable. Please email board members or give us a call with your thoughts.
MITP - There are 7 board members with trustees. Basically the board are the only people who volunteer to setup/take down all materials at MITP. We are looking for more volunteers. Please let any board member know if you can help out. You don’t have to work the entire event, but if you can give an hour or 2 it helps a lot
Board has decided to advertise with parks & rec. There are various packages available. 1 includes a backer board at the ice arena, a banner at the ball fields, and an ad in the playbook that is sent to all residents. There is also advertising available to the Echo which is a newsletter mailed to 1500 senior residents bi-monthly.

Natalie Thurmond - tomorrow at her home she is having a skin care demonstration 734-664-4945. She also has a sample
Steve Karas - Unifirst - they handle first aid needs, cpr classes, first aid cabinets for business use. They offer classes in cpr, add, first aid for about $10 per person.
Brandy Overholt - Public Services Credit Union - they are promoting their CD rate of 5% for 6 months. They are opening up a lobby event for local businesses.
Jeff King asked if we have tracking stats for people searching our website.
