Island Matters (IM) wants to thank its readers for all the support you have given us. Now we’re two years old!

Starting next week, IM will change our publication schedule. As IM matures, we will continually adjust the plan to communicate with all full- and part-time island residents.

Of course, IM welcomes input from our readers, as well. What would you like to see in our weekly publication schedule?

Growth

When IM first started, we posted stories once every two weeks. Since then, our local, independent, online newspaper has grown into a four-day-a-week schedule.

The Plan

The plan is to post news four times weekly, post hot topics immediately, and take Wednesdays off. We will still follow our general outline but augment it with other news when appropriate.

Monday – Island Life
Tuesday – Weekly calendar
Thursday – Letters to the editor and stories produced by our business sponsors and fellow island non-profits.
Friday - Local governments
