I hope you all are having a wonderful end to your spring and have things geared up and ready to go for summer. Please remember that our fabulous SDBSI Summer Institute registration is closing soon. I had the opportunity to attend in 2019 and it was such a benefit to me as a brand new Financial Aid Administrator. Also, the Communications Committee is looking forward to our May newsletter where we will have a full recap of the 2023 WASFAA conference. Please stay tuned!

WASFAA recently held its annual conference in Tacoma, Washington, April 17-19. What an amazing time of learning, networking, and connecting! Conference attendees were met with a wealth of informative sessions and opportunities to meet other professionals dedicated to student financial aid. I cannot thank Art Young and the conference committee enough for all of the thought, planning, and time that went into this event! It thoroughly showed in how smoothly the event flowed, the engagement by those that were present, and the glowing feedback we have been receiving.

It is not too late to register for the 2023 Sister Dale Brown Summer Institute!
This week long institute is designed to train and refresh skills for any Financial Aid Administrator at any level. We will cover 9-10 NASFAA U training modules, which will allow you to take the credential test for each of these topics!
